The Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) of UCLan Cyprus University was established in 2013 with the aim of becoming a model Educational Institution bridging education with industry, combining academic knowledge with technical vocational training.

The degree programs offered by the Institute are designed in such a way as to provide students with not only the necessary knowledge, but also the technical vocational training, skills and experiences that will pave the way for a successful professional career. After all, the Institute’s priority is to produce well-educated, highly qualified graduates, equipping them to be competitive in the local and international job market in their field of expertise. It is also noteworthy that a large percentage of the Institute’s graduates have managed to find employment in local and international companies, not only in Cyprus, but also abroad.

With the professional success and recognition of our students in mind, our efforts have been mainly focused on creating a team of instructors consisting of experienced academics in the field of higher technical and vocational education, as well as specialized professionals recognized in the local and international industry. Our goal is to pass on both knowledge and experience to students during their studies.

In addition, the Institute is actively involved in creating a network of partners with multinational organizations and certification bodies with a long presence in the domestic and international industry. All the collaborations of the Institute aim to ensure the quality of the education provided and also the certification of the trainees’ qualifications by internationally recognized organizations.
